In 2018, Art Box PHM was founded by a group of refugee artist in hopes of creating more opportunities for artists of different cultures origins in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

The main purpose is to help refugee artists use their artistic skills as a way for them to earn income, exposure, and networking opportunities.

It's crazy to look back into the adventures of life. When I look back, I feel grateful to be introduced by art. I have developed a personal relationship with it, and it touches my heart and soul, in which I am sure it's what other artists are feeling. But I know that with art, we can grow and become stronger together.

Mozhdeh Qurbani has been into art for a few years now and is a dedicated member of ArtBox PHM. She feels that with the community she is in now, she felt stronger and empowered to explore her capabilities in Art. She has been painting as a mode of expression and wants to share the beauty of art. She believes, through sharing this beauty, it will share positivity and hopes to many of those who are in need.
