In 2018, Art Box PHM was founded by a group of refugee artist in hopes of creating more opportunities for artists of different cultures origins in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

The main purpose is to help refugee artists use their artistic skills as a way for them to earn income, exposure, and networking opportunities.

As much as our hopes can be shattered through our journey, we can bring it up through painting.

Painting has become a part of me. It helps me express my mind, heart and journey. As simple as a forest landscape, it teaches me new ways I can pour my emotions.

Nazafarin

Nazafarin is a refugee artist and a member of ArtBox PHM. Nazafarin's journey has never stopped her from painting. Although they were unforgettable memories, she translated them into art. It becomes a way for her to convey emotions and her thoughts. This, she feels is a way for her to share to people her passion. Regardless of the boundaries, she wants to connect and communicate with many people through art.
